Student Interview: Matthew Pinto
|
For this interview I spoke to Matthew Pinto about how his senior year is currently going and how he balances his course rigor with extracurricular activities and upcoming EA college application deadlines. Matthew Pinto is heavily involved in extracurricular activities being involved in six individual after school clubs, as well as the ski team for his winter sport. With the increased workload during the end of the quarter and balancing his extracurricular he claims that he has a difficult time managing his time and he has a build up of late work. He manages this by cramming all these assignments into the last few days and he describes himself as “locked in”. Additionally, he describes himself as “nervous” when it comes to the approaching early action deadlines for the majority of colleges.
Matthew has described his senior year as very enjoyable and has expressed his enjoyment of the early leave senior privilege. He has also been enjoying the senior events such as the senior sunrise and is extremely excited for the senior trip to Disney. He feels that the senior trip will be an extremely good experience for him and he believes that a lot of memories will be made with his friends. This concludes the very informative and relatable interview with Matthew Pinto for the first quarter of his senior year. Jake Rieber 10/30/25 |
